In a world ripe with reasons to distrust politicians or lose faith in the system, here is one very welcome piece of news: Rand Paul is in.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Rand Paul is not a normal politician, at least not by today’s standard of normal. He is certainly not a normal republican.
He doesn’t even speak eloquently. But that’s fine, since his message is an important one.
This is not the last time you will hear about Rand Paul.
If all goes well, the ideas Rand is promoting (“more government isn’t the answer”) and the concept of having a politician who acts with consistency (have you seen his dad Ron Paul’s voting record?) will spread and grow.
That’s right: this is good news for America.
